Overgrown

Overgrown is an 6 x 8" original oil painting of a sprawling mixed bouquet — white daisies, pink blooms, and drooping white buds — spilling out of a blue vase against a cool blue-gray background. The composition is intentionally loose and blurry, more feeling than precision, and the crisscrossing lines of the stems through the vase create an almost graphic pattern beneath all that lush abundance. This is a painting that rewards looking closely. The longer you sit with it, the more you find. Painted on canvas panel.
