About Rebecca Owsley

I’m a painter drawn to quiet, everyday moments—small expressions, unexpected color, and the subtle beauty that often goes unnoticed.

Much of my work is inspired by my life at home with my children, where personality, movement, and emotion show up in simple but meaningful ways. I’m interested in capturing those fleeting moments and holding onto them through paint.

I work across oil, acrylic, and mixed media, choosing materials based on what best serves each piece. My process is hands-on and intuitive, with an emphasis on color, composition, and texture.

My hope is that these paintings bring a sense of presence and play into the spaces they live in.
